01 In the app
- Open Trading Alarm Clock and tap the account icon at the top right of the Alarm screen.
- Tap Delete Account & All Data.
- Confirm with Delete Account.
The app returns to its first screen, signed out, with no alarm. Deletion happens immediately on our server and there is nothing to undo. The only thing that stays for a while is named under What is kept, and by whom.
02 What is deleted
- Your account, which is only a hashed sign-in identity. We never held your name or email.
- Your alarm and its settings.
- Your webhook URL and its secret. Alerts sent to the old URL are refused from that moment.
- The push token that let us wake this phone.
- Our record of your subscription: the transaction id, product, dates and status, and the link between the store's transaction and your account.
- The Sign in with Apple token, after we use it to tell Apple to disconnect the app from your Apple Account.
Apple will email you that Trading Alarm Clock’s Sign in with Apple access was revoked. Its line about sharing your name and email “again” is Apple’s standard wording for every app: we never asked for either, and signing in again will not ask for them.
03 What is kept, and by whom
- By us: nothing else under your account. Analytics and crash reports are anonymous, carry no account id, and are deleted automatically after 30 days. They cannot be looked up for a person, which is also why there is nothing to delete by hand. The two switches on the Account screen stop what the app itself sends.
- By us, for up to six weeks: a daily count of how many alerts reached your account and a daily mark that the account was in use and which subscription state it was in, filed under a key derived one-way from your account, which we use only to find an account whose alerts arrive far faster than a wake needs, and holding no alert text and no times. They are deleted automatically within six weeks.
- By the store: the purchase record for your subscription stays with the store that sold it (Apple’s App Store on an iPhone, Google Play on an Android phone), under its terms, and cancelling the subscription itself is done there — Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions on an iPhone, or Play Store › your profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions on an Android phone. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription.
04 If you no longer have the app
Android, signed in with Google: delete it on this page by signing in with the same Google account — no app needed.
iPhone, signed in with Apple: reinstall it and create an alarm — its Create step signs you in; use the same Apple Account — and the steps above apply. That sign-in is the only way we can find your account: we never asked for your name or email, so an email from you cannot tell us which account is yours. If you cannot sign in any more, write to us anyway — we will explain exactly what we hold and help with whatever is possible.
