Delete your account

Trading Alarm Clock, by Second Half Software LLC

The short version

Delete with Google

Google shows you its own sign-in page and sends you back here. We ask Google only who you are; nothing is deleted until you confirm on the next step.

01 In the app, if you still have it

  1. Open Trading Alarm Clock and tap the account icon at the top right of the Alarm screen.
  2. Tap Delete Account & All Data.
  3. Confirm with Delete Account.

It is the same deletion as the button above.

02 What is deleted

  • Your account, which is only a hashed sign-in identity. We never kept your name or email.
  • Your alarm and its settings, and the latest alert’s text.
  • Your webhook URL and its secret. Alerts sent to the old URL are refused from that moment.
  • The push token that let us wake your phone.
  • Our record of your subscription: product, dates and status, and the link between Google Play’s purchase and your account.

Deletion happens immediately. There is nothing to undo; signing in again later starts a new, empty account. The only thing that stays for a while is named under What is kept, and by whom.

03 What is kept, and by whom

  • By us: nothing else under your account. Analytics and crash reports are anonymous, carry no account id, and are deleted automatically after 30 days. They cannot be looked up for a person, which is also why there is nothing to delete by hand.
  • By us, for up to six weeks: a daily count of how many alerts reached your account and a daily mark that the account was in use and which subscription state it was in, filed under a key derived one-way from your account, which we use only to find an account whose alerts arrive far faster than a wake needs, and holding no alert text and no times. They are deleted automatically within six weeks.
  • By Google Play: the purchase record for your subscription, under its terms. Cancelling the subscription is done there — Play Store › your profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription.
  • By Google: Google keeps no token for us, so there is nothing to tell it. To remove Trading Alarm Clock from your Google account too, open your Google account’s Third-party apps & services (myaccount.google.com/connections).
